    I'm replacing my original adapter that came with my iPhone 7 and it made it all of 6 months before shorting out the sound in my right headphone speaker. You can always count on Apple to replace perfectly good functionality (headphone jacks) with unnecessary new ones in order to increase profits by forcing you to buy more adapters or wireless headphones. The adapter wires are just as terribly designed as the charger cable wires. Thanks Apple.
