Product is compact, only problem is you can’t charge the phone at the same time.

This adapter works without issue. I’ve purchased several of these to keep in our house and vehicles and they’ve worked flawlessly. Nice to have headphones with a standard jack for other devices and these make them able to connect to the iPhones with lightning ports.

You can't use wired headphones without it. So I yelled at Adele and she became enraged and we broke up. That's how she wrote her song. It was all because of the lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter. I tend to misplace iphone accessories so I will sometimes buy them on Ebay for a few dollars. The problem is they aren't supported by iphone and therefore dont' work very well. So I went ahead and bought the Apple product which works just fine. Worth it to get the real deal. Best Buy carries original Apple products and I happened to find a store convenient to me while I was in New York.

This works just as it should. Had a hard time locating the item online, though. Used words like “adapter” and “converter” and got no results. Finally found the item using the word “dongle”. Seriously?!? Might want to adjust your search results for the Apple Lightning...Headphone ADAPTER, as it says on the box.

The apple adapter is definitely a necessary accessory if you've upgraded your iPhone to a 7, if you want to be able to use your new device with products, like speakers, non apple earbuds, etc. It's not expensive, and it works well, and seamlessly. You can't tell you're using an adapter, and they last a long time, I bought my first one over a year ago, and there hasn't been any degradation in the quality.
