Sometimes you need a wired headphone / microphone adapter, and there aren't very many options with built in lightning connectors. This works, and has worked with my cheap-o Sony earbuds and my more expensive headsets. It works and these generally last longer than the cheaper versions.

Without the phone jack of old, I needed this adapter in order to play music from my phone in my car. (I have Bluetooth for phone but not for music). Besides my frustration with that situation and the removal of the jack from new iPhones, this does exactly what it needs to. Only drawback is that you can either charge or play music -- not both since both use the lightning port.

Got this after trying Insignia adapter that came DOA. Genuine Apple adapter is the way to go. Its flawless in operation and works 100% of time. Plus it was on sale.

Purchased this specifically for the ability to play my music from my iPhone directly to either my awesome boss headphones (old model but still sound great, no Bluetooth) or my PA sound system I use for bbqs or family gatherings. Has no distortion or negative feedback from the connection so it’s a pretty cool little thing to use for anything needing a 3.5 mm connection

Way better than the cheap stuff on Amazon. I once bought a cheap one from Amazon and there was so much static noise that it was annoying. I ended up getting this and the sound quality was superior and no static noises.

This works just as it should. Had a hard time locating the item online, though. Used words like “adapter” and “converter” and got no results. Finally found the item using the word “dongle”. Seriously?!? Might want to adjust your search results for the Apple Lightning...Headphone ADAPTER, as it says on the box.

Easy to use and great quality for attaching my headphones to my phone

The dongle works well with my headphones. The dac makes my music sound really good.

I've dropped my phone so many times with my headphones in and this adapter always saves my phone. I've even slammed my truck door on the adaptor once and it still works! It has a dent in it but hey i don't mind. I ordered two extra ones just in case i forget to bring one so I leave one in car or bag. If you're someone that losses adapters easy just always keep the adapter plugged into your headphones. :)
