    Because there is no 3.5 mm connection on my new iPhone for my gym earphones, I bought the adaptor before I looked into the box to see they were included with the phone. That's okay as I needed one for my motor cycle also to connect the phone to my stereo system on the bike. They both are with fine and make my going from gym to biking easier without having to carry one to both places.
