This product is authentic apple product and helps connect the old headphones with 3.5mm jack to the newer iphone which does not have the 3.5mm jack anymore. This is a very good alternative if you do not like the idea of using the wireless bluetooth earbuds that may need frequent charging.

This adapter is a hard-to-find product. One was included with my new iphone 7+ when I purchased it nine months ago. After I lost it, I started looking for the item online and was surprised to see it in stock at my local Best Buy. It’s the day after allows me to use all of my old earbuds with the new iPhone.

This solves the "problem" of the new iPhones "requiring" Bluetooth/wireless headphones. Those can be used, but so can plug-in head phones, and personally I like options. I have one adapter that came with the new phone bundle (charger & headphones etc) but I wanted an adapter for each set of plug in headphones I have

My daughter lost her headphone adapter. I bought an off-brand one to try (it had a splitter so you could charge at the same time) and the input broke off - IN THE NEW IPHONE - within days. I was happy (and surprised) to buy this actual Apple product at a reasonable price. Won't make that mistake again!

This product is good for charging your phone while listening with your headphones. Without this extension you could only do one.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was a headphone adapter that I could purchase that was a lot less expensive than a pair of wireless headphones. It works great!! Best Buy I purchased.

great quality. I hate that the box and the cord are sold separate but it does its job.

I highly recommend only buying apple products for your apple iPhone because if you use other products they damage your iPhone. I bought a bootleg adapter for cheap when I lost mine which screwed up my iPhone; its better to invest extra cash on the actual adapter, so your phone quality remains intact.

This headphone adapter really comes in handy. From a technical perspective, they work perfectly. Only trouble is, I keep losing mine so I bought several so that I'll always have a backup. If you have an iPhone, you're going to need one of these at some point!

Easy to use, only drawback for me is it’s a little short, two inches longer and I’d have given it 5 stars...

Works great, but too expensive! Tried a third party version but did not work.

I got a new iPhone and then went on amazon to find a lightning to AUX cord. It kept disconnecting and would only play music out of one side of my car. Long story short, it’s better to keep that aux cord you’ve had for ten years and just buy one of these bad boys.

This thing is decent for what it is. The biggest drawback, of course, is Apple's insistence on requiring it in the first place.

In order to listen to music in my car with my iPhone 7 Plus, I need something like this Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone Adapter to work with my car not equipped with Bluetooth. When I use this adapter, I can't charge my phone. The quality is terrible compared to my iPhone 6 with a standard headphone cord to car speakers. But I have no choice but keep using this cord.

Good functionality and quality but expensive. Can be used for various regular headphones with old style connector.

I railways lose these thing but I leave them attached to my headphones so I lose those too..haha.. but they are not expensive so I don’t mind getting a new one especially when you can catch them on sale for 7.00 most of the time. Thanks Best Buy for making shopping for apple products so much easier

What's to say.. It's a necessary item to have for wired headphones or for use in a vehicle with aux input only.

I wanted an extra adapter for travel. I have my Apple devices (without 3.5 mm jack) and non-Apple devices with 3.5 mm jack. I needed to switch from one to the other. An extra adapter for travelling day-to-day and for extended periods was useful. The 2-day delivery was also a Best Buy perk this year!

Since apple makes you buy separate parts now, this was needed for my car before I had Bluetooth. During that time it was perfect! Just connect like a charger and then connect to aux
