I purchased a couple of these to use one in my car for the aux cable and another to have at home for my old pair of headphones (I use the apple earbuds with lightning at work). The converter works nicely, however I did notice the sound isn't as good when used with auxiliary cable in the car. The sound seemed a bit quiet and high toned. Overall I believe Apple should sell these a bit cheaper, maybe $8 but it definitely is worth having to use any quipment with a headphone jack.

I have the iPhone XR which doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. This allows me to use my normal headphones with my XR then easily use them on my Nintendo Switch while on the train. Much better than carrying two sets of headphones in order to switch between devices.

Bought this so I could connect my iPhone8 to an older car with a tape deck. Rigged up the tape-to-3.5mm jack to this connector. Needless to say, the sound quality and connection are great! If you’re looking for a solution that doesn’t involve Bluetooth then definitely pick this up.

I love that these are still available to facilitate using my favorite wired headphones and earphones while waiting on my wireless ones to recharge. I’m very thankful that the price is under $10, which is very cheap for a legit Apple product. I have one that stays in my flat, and one I carry in my bag on the go.

This adapter is excellent! Now I can use my old iPhone earbuds with my newer model iPhone. Finally, I won’t have to disturb the neighborhood when I walk and listen to music on my iPhone.

Moving up to the iPhone X was great but I sure missed my auxiliary jack to use my headphones and square. Bluetooth doesn't help me when I am flying. This little adapter has solved that problem and works great! I got two so I have one in my purse and one at my desk.

Does what it should. However, if you want/need to charge your phone while listening, you will have to purchase and additional adapter, not found under an "Apple" search. Belkin makes the only authorized adapter that will let you charge and listen at the same time via the lighting port.

Apple of course got us once again by getting rid of the headphone jack and making us use this adapter but luckily they made them pretty tough and can stand up to most of the things you put it through but usually the thing you have to worry about with them is losing them.

I am not really fan of removing the headphone jack from the iphone. This connector get the job done!

It was on sale when I bought this adaptor I really needed this since I can use for my online classes that I needed more gadgets. Very cheap nice quality and useful. Definitely commendable for everyone .

HAD TO INVEST IN AN OFFICIAL APPLE ADAPTER. APPLE HAS PUT SOMETHING IN ALL THESE WIRES CORDS AND ADAPTERS TO SIGNAL YOUR DEVICE THAT 3RD PARTY PRODUCTS ARE BEING USED AND THE ERROR MESSAGE APPEARS STATING THAT THE DEVICE IS "NOT COMPATIBLE" WITH YOU IPHONE, IPAD, IMAC ETC. THEN THE DEVICE YOU HAD HOOKED UP STOPS WORKING. GREAT WAY TO INCREASE SALES OF THE HIGHER PRICED APPLE ITEMS. REMEMBER THAT THESE ARE DISPOSABLE. THEY ONLY LAST AS LONG AS THE COPPER WIRE INSIDE DOES NOT BREAK FROM CONTINUOUS USE (FLEXING BACK AND FORTH). THAT IS IT'S WEAK LINK. WHAT THEY NEED TO DO IS USE A HEAVIER GAUGE WIRE OUTER COATING AND THESE WOULD LAST A LOT LONGER. THEY WANT TO SELL MORE UNITS HOWEVER.

I've always owned a Samsung Galaxy, so I am new to the iPhone. I own several pair of earphones, but my favorite pair are from a previous phone which wasn't compatible until I purchased this 3.5mm adapter. This adapter was affordable and convenient.

Great headphone adapter, saw several online for around the same price but 99% of them are fakes even when they say apple on them. Buying with Best Buys I know I'm getting the real thing.

Used it to add an external microphone to an Ipad. Works exactly as advertised. Only trick is to make sure the microphone is plugged in to the adapter before plugging the adapter into the Ipad.

If you own an IPhone 7 you need this for wired headphones. I always keep a spare just in case. This adaptor only lets you listen to wired headphones. You can not charge and listen to wired headphones at the same time. If you need to do that get the 2 in 1 headphone and charger adapter!

Provides a neat little, precisely-fitting bridge between earbuds and the iPhone SE/2020 and the sound quality is unimpeded. However, I do think that this ten-buck item should be included as part of the phone purchase.
