If you have an iPhone 7 and up the audio jack is removed so that’s why you get usb lighting adapter for an auxiliary jack or head phones use.

This piece is needed for any ear phones other than the Apple brand. 8.99 is an expense that would not be necessary if Apple had not changed the functionality.

Rather perfunctory. Enables you to connect to 3rd party headphones and speakers. Will get outdated if Apple switches to USB C on future iPhones.

I got this because iPhone 12 does not come with wired earphones any more. Got the adapter so I could use my old wired ones,

So I purchased a new car and I didn’t shave a usb to connect the phone. A friend told me about this and let’s just say I’m so thank full for this jack

I would like to go wireless with my headphones but haven’t found what I want for a good price...the adaptor has worked great for me. This is a good option.

Nothing like buying an adaptor from Apple. It works like it is supposed to, but you pay more that what you think you should.

I’ve had one of these in the past but seems always lose them somewhere - Being able to have a replacement available for so cheap was very cool!

Thank Apple for this purchase decision. Multiple Bose headphones and earbuds + iPhone 8Plus = lightning-to-3.5mm adapter. The $10 seemed like the correct choice.

I wish Apple had kept the audio jack on the iPhone 8. Nevertheless, the Lightning-to-3.5 is a necessity if you want to use other audio devices.

So far so good! I have had some friends that have had to purchase a second or third one but I haven’t experienced any problems with the product thus far.

With no headphone jack. This is a must have. They work great and do the job well. I only giving it 3 stars due to having to have one. They are small and get lost easily. I had to buy 3 now due to my girlfriend always misplacing them.

Picked up an extra adapter to keep in the automobile. Best price for this product that I found. Highly recommend that if you have an Apple 7, that you pick up a spare.
