If you want to plug in, you need it so...

If you happened to transfer you phone allot from pocket to pocket or if you listening to music and you want to change tracks on it etc it might disconnect which sucks, you have to unplug it and plug it again in order to restore sound on the headphones.

Not Great for the price

I would not be as discouraged if this adapter was a few bucks but it’s not and the sound quality seems to be not as good as the straight AUX plug in. In summary it’s to expansive for what it does and is.
