I bought a generic brand of these from the Internet to use with my wired headphones. The generic brand doesn't always work. The genuine Apple brand works well with my iPhone 7 Plus.

Bought online. Store pick up was ready quickly. Easy pick up. No issues .still using the wire over a year later. Don’t buy fakes.

Needed this in order to use my old Samsung earphones as I hate the ones that came with my iPhone... plus I can add to my beats, win win worth the money ...

This meet my needs. It was on sale. If like me & do not want to listen via Bluetooth all day but use traditional headphones this is a must purchase as a replacement or spare.

Item does exactly what it describes. needed this to hook my phone up to old speakers for my garage gym. I would say the only downside is the factory apple product cords tend to separate very easily and have had that happen multiple times

I mean, it's an adapter. It works as advertised. Only dropping a star because it's necessary to buy an adapter in the first place *insert eye-roll here*. I actually grabbed a couple so that I can keep one at home, one in the car, one at the office. Cause, consumerism!

This is a great product for those who have iPhones with only a lightning port. I’ve had one of these before but unfortunately it got worn out after almost a couple years. I originally wantEd one of the dongles that had a port for headphones and the port for when I needed to charge my phone. However, I was informed by one of the employees that only third-party companies make them. I’m normally not a fan of third-party products but it was very informative of the employee. So I went with the traditional dongle for my phone, which is still handy in any case.

Being able yo use 3.5mm headphones is great! A must have for iphone owners

Needed a way to connect my iphone to our sound system. The adapter is a great tool to have around.

I hate that I need to remember to bring this with me whenever I want to use my old headphones with my iPhone 7, but the product works well and there isn't any reduction in sound quality.

This is the best way for me to use my preferred wired headphones to watch movies on my iPad.

Allows you to buy whatever headphones you want and use adapter to new phone. Daughter goes through (I mean loses) headphones all the time. Good item to have.

Since Apple decided headphone jack was a waste of space, there needs to be an adapter for e siting wired earbuds. It works fine, but cost is high. 3rd party adapters you find on other sites are junk. I know I tried one. Induced so much hum that it was unusable. Still to name brands for this.
