Yes, as an adapter it's a good product. But I must admit it's a little annoying to have to buy something that should have come in the box with the new phone.

Since the phones no longer have a headphone port, you need this to use wired headphones. Works as expected

I purchased this for daughter when she lost her iphone headpones. This is the solution if you have a wired pair of earbuds and want to use them on a newer iphone
