Good for what it's supposed to do i.e. let you use universal headphone jacks with your overpriced iPhone. This product should have been completely unnecessary, but it gets the job done.

Apple gave us no choice so this is what it is, me being a audiophile I hate, hate this, but it’s the only option for me to have when I want to travel light and with a good pair of headphones, I don’t care for Bluetooth headphones, so this is my option or to leave Apple. I actually purchased an iPod classic because it has the traditional 3.5 headphone jack. But having two devices on your person sucks in today’s world. Why I hate it so much, it not a solid connection, it can easily be disconnected by the slightest touch, sometimes you have to reconnect it because it get this funny sounding distortion effect, it breaks fairly easy. I purchased at least 8 already, so yeah it sucks

I have a pair of wired headphones that I use at home. Being able to use them with my iPhone thanks to this adapter is great

If you get an iPhone 7 or newer you need one of these to connect to your older audio equipment. This cable works perfectly.

I needed this product to use my headphone. The product works well.

It is unfortunate they are no longer including this, at least with the IPhone XS, but this works for my non-apple headphones.

It works with my knockoff Apple headphones and nothing is affected when plugged into my iPhone 6s with the Apple Extended battery case.

I ended up buying a couple of these and putting them in my travel bag, at the office and by my bed because I kept losing my original one.

Adapter works, it's $0.99 more expensive than buying directly from the Apple store. I've used with two different sets of headphones (1more triple driver and bose soundsport) and each works fine - in-line controls and microphone work with the adapter.

I find it stupid that we even need to buy something like this ....but what can you say ...it’s a dongle it works :)

Great item! Absolutely needed if you have a newer apple iPhone. Let you easily use regular headphones or tie into a car audio systems.

I bought these at the same time I purchased Air Pods. Why? Because you will inevitably need a backup for when the Air Pods need charging or when misplaced (lost!). Throw it in your bag with wired headsets. You will need it eventually.
