Genuine apple product, packaging, and capability. Use it with my Bose QC3s and works perfectly.

First off not a fan of having to use these I have had lost these a few times. I have purchased cheaper ones on amazon but 50% of the time they don’t work and are a waste of time and money. I would rather pay a couple more dollars and get something I can trust. Face it apple isn’t going to give us back an audio port and if you are like me and prefer wired over wireless this is a must have.

This adapter works great with my wired headphones on my new iPhone 11.

I wish that I had known this existed a few years ago. I lost two sets of wired headphones, (That's why I'll never get wireless) and someone gave me a wired pair, but only the left bud worked, and I'm deaf in my left ear. So, I would jam the left bud into my right ear to go running.

This adaptor does exactly what is needed for headsets with the 3.5 mm audio plug.

I'm replacing my original adapter that came with my iPhone 7 and it made it all of 6 months before shorting out the sound in my right headphone speaker. You can always count on Apple to replace perfectly good functionality (headphone jacks) with unnecessary new ones in order to increase profits by forcing you to buy more adapters or wireless headphones. The adapter wires are just as terribly designed as the charger cable wires. Thanks Apple.
