Works as designed, more reliable than most bluetooth headphones allows use of wired headphones.

Apple probably could have included a phono plug adapter with their very expensive new X iPhones because everyone already had their old earbuds, But it was good of them to include new earbuds with the lightning plug. Thankfully Apple made their adapter price very reasonable.

The only down part about apple products is probably the way they implemented the way you have to charge so that means by all you want to listen in your car aux you have to get the apdater part the only thing that bums me out about apple but other wise they make a very supior product

With the iPhone X my options after loosing the adapter that came with the phone was to buy this or a Bluetooth setup. I have wired headphones that I love for running so the adapter was the best choice. Does what it is suppose to do and converts my 3.5mm headset jack to be usable with my X.

It sounds good from my end. But I was on a phone call with someone who said that they had a hard time hearing me.

I’ve misplaced my iPhone headphones so I needed a less expensive replacement set. Grabbed one at the store and quickly realized they didn’t fit my iPhone. Quick solution - Lightning adapter! Works perfectly and great price! I can now listen to audiobooks again while driving.
