This will do what you want... convert Lightning to headphones. Considering that I have a ton of headphone jacks, it is completely a waste and Apple should be ashamed. Unfortunately, some people in the family want Apple... so oh well.

Ordered on line. Part was in stock. Got email when ready to pick up. Drove to store, gave them my name, brought it out, and I was on my way.

The Lightning to Headphone adapater works great in connecting newer IPhones to external speakers or older cars with Auxiliary input jacks or cassette tape players.

Mmmm not happy sometimes very nice to use it but sometimes is annoying specially if run out batt. And someone calling you. You need to decide which one you will use.lol plus i always loose it.

Nobody should have to buy one of these but since apple forced us to it is necessary. Only bought a second one because I was tired of bringing my only one in the car with me.

It was a decent product overall. I just hate paying for something that first of all, proprietary, and secondly, paying for something that they used to give you for free when you got a phone. $10 also seems a bit excessive for an adapter.

Good adapter and saved me lots of money by not having to buy new headphones. I like that the adapter isn’t stiff. Not bad for $10

I can now put all my prior Apple earphones back in use. Works perfectly plus they are removable when a lightning jack is not needed.

Great price on these. Granddaughter uses them. Had $20 in points

So sad that you have to purchase an item that should come with the iPhone but this dongle works great and not too expensive

Bought this in an emergency since the lightening headphones were not in stock. Good if you have old school headphones with a newer iPhone. Other than that the dongle is a rip off.

My son had issues with his old headphone adapter only working on one side... So we went to Best Buy... in and out in less than 5 minutes and Dad is a HERO!

I think apple is dumb for no longer including these with a purchase of a new phone, but works great for my mic setup while recording videos/audio for podcasts

I have many headphones without Bluetooth so this item is a must have. You can fully wear out your current headphones until you decide to upgrade to the Bluetooth version.

I needed this adapter to watch videos on my iPhone during my flight, since all aircraft video systems were inoperative, Works just as advertised and was a good price.

Just needed a cord to connect the iphone to my headphones. This does the job just fine

A Square card reader for apple is $40. A Square card reader with the headphone plus is $10 and the adapter is $10. Do the math. Works like a charm.

If you have purchased the new IPhone you will need this adapter unless you use wireless headphones. Wish it would have been included with phone purchase.
