My headphone jack on my old iPhone didn’t fit certain plugs with the case on. Purchased this dongle and now all I have to do is plug into the dongle and snap this into the lightning port. It works on the iPhone 5 through current models of iPhone.

Let's face it - this adaptor isn't going to send an astronaut to the moon. However, it IS going to let you use your old headphones and any other 3.5mm device, with your new iPhone 7 or 7 Plus. Works fine with a 3.5mm headphone fm modulator and other headphones.

If you try to be cheap and purchase the adapter not made my apple, you will regret it. I can listen to music with my beats headphones, connect it to my stereo’s auxiliary port, virtually everywhere! I wish they still came with the phone.

It’s unfortunate this product needs to exost but it does and it works fine. It’s almost a little too long but that’s ok. It’s sturdy and reliable unlike other unofficial products. If it came in black that would be nice. Buy this one, not the cheap knockoffs.

This item works great. I was able to hook up my iPhone to my car. My car is a little bit older, so this is the only way, I'm able to listen to my Satellite radio on my phone.

We always lose this dang thing, appreciate Apples innovation but to need an adapter for Aux device use is very frustrating. Product works perfectly though, it's a must have for speakers and cars.

Since Apple has chosen to force you to buy a dongle if you want to use wired headphones, this one works just fine.

I purchased this indoor hd antenna for my mother-in-law as an alternative to expensive cable. It was very easy to install and brings in 22 channels, which has most of the programs that she is interested in watching. The reception is also very clear.

It works as intended and lower cost than most Apple adapters. Use this for an external mic when using the phone for video and also for and audio cable into an older vehicle.

This cheap piece of equipment is vital for iPhone users who still have that Aux input in their car and no bluetooth. I bought a second one just so I could keep one at home and one in the car. This way, I don't have to worry about losing them as I travel.

Great product! It's very annoying that Apple has removed audio jacks from their items, so it's once that this is so easy to use. Audio quality is exactly the same as the earbuds were, too.

Had to buy a whole bunch of these because I work for a A/V company and our clients always want to play music with there phones and never have a adapter. These last a long time and don't short out like non apple ones.

Simple, quality adapter. Needed this to connect my old-school, wired monitor Shure earphones, which have the best sound quality!

Just got the new iPhone XS Max, which doesn't have a standard headphone jack, so I needed this to be able to continue using my Bose headphones. Works great and I was surprised at the price! Usually Apple accessories are a little more pricey.

I hate that we need to buy it. I know there are wireless headphones (which I have), but sometimes they die on me and I leave my cable at home. Why does apple have to be extra about their phones. Either way, this product works fine.

Its pretty stupid that iPhones don't come with this, that's why I am a Samsung customer. But now you have to buy a similar piece for Samsung phones so THANKS APPLE. Product works as it should.

I leave one in my car for those headphones and the other by my night stand for this eheadphones. My iPhone 7 came with one which I still use and I also have a pair of lightning headphones that I leave in my work bag. Can't be too prepared, I live on my phone.
