My wireless headphones broke, stopped by Best Buy for adaptor to use my old beats wired headphones. Works great & didn’t have to pay out $100+ for new wireless headphones... Just attached the adaptor & getting my jam on again!!!

SOMETIMES I HAVE HEADPHONES THAT DO NOT HAVE THE IPHONE PLUG SO I USE THIS TO BE ABLE TO USE ANOTHER TYPE OF HEADPHONE PLUGS VERY GOOD TO USE EVEN IN OLDER CARS THAT DO NOT HAVE THE BLUETOOTH TO PLAY YOUR SONGS FROM YOUR PHONE.

While I wish that I did not have to use this item, it seems that this is now Apple canon, for better or worse. Luckily, the adaptor itself works well, and the sound quality is identical to the output of the old iPhones, current iPads, and MacBooks. What's not so great, is I have had 2 of these start to fail after about 2 years of continuous use. I use these adaptors for almost 2 hours every day (sometimes more), so I cannot expect them to last forever. When mine start to fail, they will randomly hang up on phone calls, stop and restart songs, etc. However, I have only noticed these problems when I'm using cables that have inline controls. It seems that using a cable with no controls will minimize the glitches, and sometimes they work perfectly fine. Still, trying to find the "right" adapter when I need to take a phone call is frustrating; it would be nice if iPhones still utilized the 3.5mm jack, but it is what it is. Thankfully, these adapters are relatively cheap, and work for a decent amount of time depending on how often you use them, and how rough you are with them. These are simply a must have item if you are using wired headphones with any current-gen iPhone models.

The adapter work well with my IPhone. I would buy again.

I was kind of snickering about the fact Best Buy asked me to review this item twice. What's there to say? It adapts your headphone jack to a lightning connector for those of us who can afford the I7, but are too cheap to pick up a pair of blue tooth earbuds.

Very durable product. I have used it for a year now and still gives good quality sound. I had another brand, same product, and that one lasted only about 6 months.

Too bad Apple dropped the ball on this little detail. Buy a $750-$1200 iphone and neglect to make it a complete package by including this simple $10 solution. Easy to use, works great. Too bad I had to buy this as an added accessory.

This is handy. It works wonderfully and will save you a lot of money on buying new ear buds for your latest iphone. IF your Iphone does not have a headset plug only the lightening port like mine. Finding that out the hard way hurt my feelings.

Definitely a necessity because I don't use Bluetooth earbuds anymore. I prefer a direct connection. Good for connecting an aux cord to a sound bar also.

I purchased the lightning adapter to use with my phone and a wireless stereo. I am using a 3.5mm jack. It works and allows me to use my phone to play music.

It’s simple, easy to use, and does the job. My son had an older phone for which he used a mic to record sound for videos on his phone. Instead of buying a new mic this made the conversion easy.

if you have a iphone you know what this is for and yes u do need it makes life easier and isnt after market nocdk off so go with legit

Considering the iphone 7 doesn't have a headphone jack, this is needed for an older model car that only has an auxiliary in jack (no bluetooth connection for music). It functions great for that use, and it's probably the cheapest thing that Apple sells.

i can connect to everything apple with this one and use my headphones for everything that isnt apple
