Always need an extra pair of these no matter where you go. I always have at home, in my purse, and work bag. It’s amazing how we rely on this little adapter to connect headphones.

This is the hate part of a typical Love/Hate relationship with Apple. The decision to go with a proprietary connector was arrogant on Apple's part. Ok...so its been several years since the transition and the industry didn't conform to this standard. Great. Having to keep up with an extra part is very inconvenient and they easily get misplaced or lost. I can't tell you how many times I've heard in my household or car "Wheres my frikin Dongle!". Top that off with not being able to charge your device as you use this dongle, you get my point. Oh wait, there's another adapter that allows you to plug this dongle and a charging cable at the same time. What a surprise... another $30. I guess if anything good could be said about this dumb adapter is that they are pretty well made (as most all Apple products are) and somewhat relatively inexpensive as far as Apple products go.

I bought it to use on a samsung galaxy note 20 phone and it works correctly. So far I haven't had a problem.

This adapter works perfect in my older work truck. I only have an aux in jack and no bluetooth on the radio. I purchase this so I could stream my Sirius XM app from my phone to the truck radio.

Not much to say about this. It works as intended, I had to replace the one that came with my phone because I lost it. I might have been able to find a cheaper one somewhere else, but for the price it was worth buying in person. I also feel like it will live up better than a random one bought online since it's genuine Apple...but I really have no proof of that.

Just needed to be able to listen to music on iPhone using headphones or ear pieces. Couldn’t use older headphones because of the connector but this little product worked perfectly.

It works great I use it with my iPad and phone.. I’m definitely a bit old school I like the wires.. I bought a few and gave then as gifts.. I really do love it.. worth the buy..

Unfortunately if you don’t have Bluetooth speakers, headphones, etc, you’ll need one of these. They do the job but you can’t charge your phone while using it, so make sure you have a good charge before listening.

Thoughts on why this is even necessary aside, this allows me to use my “other” headphones. Not an audiophile but sound quality is good enough for me.

As the newer iPhones (Mods 7-X) use on lightening connectors, this accessory is a must for using them with a pair of headphones equipped with a standard stereo mini-plug. The product exhibits good quality and works as intended.

I lost the adapter that came with my iPhone 7 so I needed another one. Much more convenient for me to get to a Best Buy than an Apple Store. This is an OEM part for the same price as Apple sells it for. Works just as well as the original.
