Low cost for adapter to still utilize legacy audio jack for wired ear buds. Was great price and so far seems to be of good quality.

I have many mini plug devices that I was using prior to getting my iPhone 7 that i wanted to keep using. This adapter allows them to all work, including my Bose QC headphones and my audio headset with a boom mike. Perfect connection with no drop in audio quality. I now have 3 of these so that I don’t have to move them around too much between the most frequently used devices.

This is a small adaptor to connect my iPhone 8+ to my beats headphones, which are not wireless. That iPhone 8+ does not have a regular headphone port, so one has to use the lightning port instead -- and so an adaptor is necessary. This adaptor critter is easy to lose since it's only a couple of inches long. Also, I go jogging with my beats headphones connected this way, and my iPhone rides along in my pocket. So the connector itself also gets a hither and yon workout that way. It is a delicate part as far as I can tell, so I don't expect it to last forever under these conditions. I bought the spare adaptor to replace a lost/broken part just in case. I consider it well worth the $10 for peace of mind, and I know exactly where it's stored.

Worked great when I used wired Bose on the xs, but now I have AirPods so this is pretty worthless. Excellent quality, though this should’ve come with the phone in the first place.

Good to keep an extra set or two handy during long road trips for the kids. Has also come in handy when I have to use my backup earbuds at work for Zoom.

This is one of those things like health. You take it for granted. When you need one of this and you misplaced it, life is not good. I use a brand of headphones where one of these puppies is a must. It works.

This adapter is great. Not sure if there are any others made by other companies though. Very happy with it. Just wish you didn’t have to buy an adapter for the new iPhones. A bit ridiculous that they changed the end of the wire.

I couldn't afford iPods so I ended up buying this and using my old iPhone 5s earbuds with my iPhone X. This worked better than expected and lasts a long time.

Just what I needed. Unfortunately iPhones require this to plug in the stereo or headphones

I hate dongles, but this makes my travel kit smaller - I carry one set of earpods with the standard 3.5 mm jack and this dongle so I can connect to my computer or phone. It's not hard to use, but dongles ugh. Be nice if it had a clip on it.

It works like a charm & is worth the money. Someone had stolen the one that came in my original box so I bought this as a replacement since my car doesn't have Bluetooth and i like to listen to my music through the speakers.

It’s unfortunate that Apple has removed the audio jack from the latest iPhones. “Luckily” for us apple has created an adapter that works great. It’s just unfortunate that we have to buy it to use our personal headphones.

This product does exactly what it's supposed to. The lightning port fits pretty well and it snaps perfectly into the standard Apple headphones. It fits pretty well into other types of headphones like Beats or Sony. Nothing else required

When Apple upgrade their features so that certain products you’ve previously purchased from them are obsolete, such as headphones with the old Jack, this ensures their revenue stream continues so you buy more stuff from them, but don’t necessarily have to throw away the old stuff you’re already bought, unless of course you want to spend a hundred dollars on their AirPods, which are amazing, but as it’s a given you will lose one, that’s really a double spend and this can also solve that problem as well so it’s sort of a win-win, but mainly for Apple who get your money one way or another.

Does exactly what I expected to. My son has an iphone 8 and he uses this to be able to use speakers or other headphones with it. Was a fair price and was able to pick it up same day I ordered it.

I bought this cable so my mom could hook her phone up to her car aux port. Don't forget to buy the 3.5mm audio cable to go with this if you are thinking of doing the same.

I have bought the generic brand before, they only last about a year before they break. I have better luck with the apple brand, just not always available.
