Easy to use does what it should use with headphones

I bought the Lightning to Headphone Adapter in order to use my IPhone X with my beloved Bose earbuds. It was a quick and easy solution for listening, but I also had to purchase a splitter to charge the phone while watching a movie on airplanes.

Upgrade one item requires more expenses to keep using other items. Recently upgrade my iMac which meant I needed an updated adapter $$ to keep using my TV as a 2nd monitor. Nice :( Upgraded phones meant we no longer could use an older (non-Blue Tooth) receiver to play music off phones not to mention all the headphones with 3.5mm plugs around the house. Blue Tooth is great but this $10 items keeps us from buying another receiver or potentially have more blue tooth wireless headphones disappear from the job. No one tends to steal the headphones with cords. We have two of these now both purchased from Best Buy (and they easily price matched Amazon so we didn't have to wait for them to be shipped - Thanks!) and they are working without any issues with our older items in the house.

This device helps me teach classes, show pics and vids and powerpoint. Super easy to use and works great.

It is made with the quality that you can always count on with Apple products. It always comes in handy when least expect it and works just as well from day one to day 1000. If you lose your headphones and need to use ones that do not have a lighting adapter this is always a good thing to have.

This lightning to 3.5 mm jack that I used for my headphones, works just fine. I also tried it with the 3.5mm credit card swiper for Square Cash Register App and that also worked fine. It had the added benefit of fitting the lightning port on my iphone even while my case was still on my iphone , which is awesome, especially considering how tight the opening is due to my iphone case. The iphone case I'm using is a Solace from Element Cases.

I hate that i even have to replace this, and in general i hate the fact there are adapter for a headphone jack, BUT as far as a fair review of the item itself, it works just fine. Nothing to knock on the product itself.

Got it cause my car doesn’t have Bluetooth and it works great. It disconnects a little easy for my liking but otherwise works well.

I've never had any problems with this adapter. It's kind of annoying to have to use it, but that's really on Apple and beside the point. It worked really well with the aux line adapter I had on my aftermarket car head unit. Never had any problems. The value is not great as it seems charger prices are out of control in general. But, the on the flipside of being annoying, Apple also makes quality products that you can be confident will work out of the box.

I have no problem purchasing one of these every time my old one gets lost or damaged because they have a long life expectancy on them and they are so good at making these lock right n tight into any Aux cables. Love it

This cheap piece of equipment is vital for iPhone users who still have that Aux input in their car and no bluetooth. I bought a second one just so I could keep one at home and one in the car. This way, I don't have to worry about losing them as I travel.

I highly recommend getting only authentic apple adapters. They're durable and trouble free. Just be careful not to lose it because of it's small size. Leave it attached to a pair of headphones.

The perfect adapter for IPhones without a headphone jack. This attachment works with the standard Apple headphones that came with older IPhones. The sound quality is perfect.

I was able to use This little cord to connect my headphones on a five hour flight that I recently took. It was awesome, which caused me not to disturb anyone around me. I don’t care for the little wireless earbuds. So it was great!

I've purchased several of these since upgrading to a 7. No loss of fidelity or any connection issues since I've been using them. Buy a few and keep them in different places throughout your car or house for quick and easy use!

This adapter makes it easy to plug traditional headphones into the lightning adapter on the IPhone 7. Since Apple is so proprietary with their stuff this way you don’t have to spend a fortune to buy new headphones. Sound is still crisp and clear

Don’t actually like that we need the adapter but it is what it is and it does what it needs to do... Keeps me using my corded Bose headphones. A must when mowing the lawn lol Bluetooth drops in and out cause of the mower motor.

While I wish that I did not have to use this item, it seems that this is now Apple canon, for better or worse. Luckily, the adaptor itself works well, and the sound quality is identical to the output of the old iPhones, current iPads, and MacBooks. What's not so great, is I have had 2 of these start to fail after about 2 years of continuous use. I use these adaptors for almost 2 hours every day (sometimes more), so I cannot expect them to last forever. When mine start to fail, they will randomly hang up on phone calls, stop and restart songs, etc. However, I have only noticed these problems when I'm using cables that have inline controls. It seems that using a cable with no controls will minimize the glitches, and sometimes they work perfectly fine. Still, trying to find the "right" adapter when I need to take a phone call is frustrating; it would be nice if iPhones still utilized the 3.5mm jack, but it is what it is. Thankfully, these adapters are relatively cheap, and work for a decent amount of time depending on how often you use them, and how rough you are with them. These are simply a must have item if you are using wired headphones with any current-gen iPhone models.

It is much more convenient than using my ear plugs. My songs on I-phone sound better because the ear plugs kept falling out! The size of the adaptor is small, easy to use, and that is good !
