You'll need this if you want to use headphones with a standard audio jack with your iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR, because these iPhones don't have a standard headphone jack anymore. It works; I took one star off because it costs $9.99 -- not cheap!

This sweet little cord makes it possible for me to listen to podcasts, etc on my older car's very good audio system.

It works when you want to connect your recent iPhone with existing audio equipment or headphones - I have several nice, expensive pairs of headphones that would be useless without this little dongle.

Without any bias, the product itself works great. The product build is nice and does what it’s intended to do. (Truthfully, I wish I did not have to purchase it but that’s besides the point). All in all, the product is top quality as expected from an OEM product from the manufacturer. (I wish the new iPhones had a headphone jack but that’s neither here nor there as that would be part of a different review for a different product).

Well I think that the product that i got is great because i plug it in my aux cable from my car and sound us great

Great adapter lets me use my 3.5 jack headphones with the new phone. Wish you could charge and listen at the same time though.

My daughter wanted headphones but the ones I bought weren't for her iPhone so I bought this adapter and it works great!

With the removal of the aux connector from the phone body, this lil adapter is a great tool when you need some tunes on a long road trip.
