    Apple made the lightning input on the bottom of iPhone 7/7Plus & subsequent generations the only way to plug in non Bluetooth earbuds & headphones. If you hsve a collection of these you can't avoid using this adapter. Watch out it's small so easy to lose.

    Pretty much need it for any headphones for an iPhone 7 or higher. Worked exactly as I needed for my in helmet headphones for snowboarding.

    This headphone lighting adapter was just what i needed to hook my iPhone 11 to my car radio. I have an older car that does not have Bluetooth. It's a little pricy. Apple should have included this with the iPhone 11.

    I continue to try aftermarket adapters and never have success with them. I have never had that problem with an Apple brand cable.
