I wish Apple still included these adapters free with new iPhones, but I had no choice but to buy this to keep using my corded headphones when I bought a new phone (including a nice pair of noise cancelling ones I am not ready to replace). For when you need headphones for longer than Bluetooth batteries last, I consider this a must buy. At least this is very reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other Apple adapters. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far so good!

Purchased this to go from a microphone to my iPhone! It works great, it’s small and the connection is secure so the two stay connected.

My iPhone recognizes it. Headphone sounds w-a-a-a-y better than tiny speakers on phone.

I've gone though a few of these, wish they were more durable since they are so expensive. They are ok, not great, not bad, just ok. They shouldn't be needed, the headphone jack should never have been removed and it CERTAINLY wasn't "brave" to do so as apple asserted, it was so they can sell you these PURE AND SIMPLE.

This tiny product fulfilled a big need. My I phone 8 would not accept a routine headphone. I needed this adapter and it made everything easy.

A very practical solution to allow you to use your original iPhone headphones with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, preventing the chance of loosing the headphones while jogging or running! The sound transfers perfectly and allows me to enjoy my music while doing sports!

Works exactly as it should, feels slightly flimsy in the middle but no issues yet, I would recommend the apple brand vs a third party

My original adapter lasted 2 years. I tried purchasing an off brand and had issues with it in less than a month. This one works just like the original.

Used this to adapt one iPhone plug to another item. Tried something from amazon. This official Apple adapter works much better.

Ever since Apple decided to remove the headphone jack, you have three options to play music: 1. Use Bluetooth devices 2. Use devices that are compatible with Air Play 3. Get this adapter I use Bluetooth ear buds for runs and they sound okay. I would avoid Bluetooth wireless adapters for cars, however. They are too tinny and do not have enough bass. Since my car does not have Air Play, that means I needed this adapter. As far as functionality goes, it's easy to use and works as advertised. My only concern is how weak the cable feels. I'm not sure how durable it is.

The headphone adapter is very compact and provides a great sound quality. Easy to use and works with a variety of devices.

The Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter is just what I need from Apple when Bluetooth listening is not an option. The adapter is compact, so it does not make carrying the iPhone uncomfortable while in use and it stores easy when not in use. The sound of the headphones is just as good combined with the headphone adapter. An easy to use necessity for iPhone users that reliably delivers corded audio. Another great quality product from Apple and great value when you in a pinch with Bluetooth headphones that do not have power.

Can you really say that Apple's own adapter would be anything less than perfect? Maybe when it comes to price, but even that wasn't so bad when I picked it up from BB. It does it's job well - adapts modern Apple phones that don't have a headphone jack to one that does. Most folks will likely roll their eyes and say they have a Bluetooth headset or AirPods or similar, but I mostly trust a wired headset (and only a wired one) when making business calls. Cheap insurance. Recommended.

I bought an iPhone 11 and was stuck with having to buy those ridiculous earbuds until a friend told me this was a better option and I love it!!! It’s such a little piece of equipment and it works great. I have no issues with it. One suggestion for Bestbuy is regarding shipping as I live in an apartment complex, 5th floor and their delivery service just tossed it on the floor randomly on the first floor. Luckily a kind neighbor took it to the leasing office. So be aware of the delivery of your items.

As always, Apple products are easy to use and rugged. This headphone adapter does its job ever time.

This item works well as an adaptor for your iPhone 7s. I've purchased a few in the past that suddenly stop "supporting the device" even though they claim to be compatiable or even "made by Apple". I've currently had this item for a few months using it daily ans while at the gym and it's still a good quality product. I think buying any adapter that isn't priced for $30 or more from Apple is risky but I would recommend this product to save money!

This I-phone accessory was a real life saver. I needed to record music for a virtual choir omnly to discover that the headphone jack on my Samsung Galaaxy tablet was no longer working and a repair would require sending the tablet to the factory. The agent who was working with me presented me with the alternative pf using my I-phone to record by attaching this cord with a headphone jack to the phone. It works very well for listening as well as recording.
