I recently rented a car that only had a AUX port and not a USB port. I was in Arizona so the radio stations where probably from Mexico, so I stopped at a Best Buy to get this adapter, and not only was I able to connect my phone to the radio for my type of music, but I was able to see the song information as well as control my phone using the radio controls in the rental car. Now when I travel I always make sure that I have this adapter with me.
