I purchased this when I upgraded from an iPhone SE, which has a headphone jack, to an iPhone 8, which doesn’t. I found the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone adapter’s sound quality to be far superior to the sound of the headphone jack on the iPhone SE. So much so that I ordered a Fido i1, with the hopes it might sound as good as the iPhone SE when it arrives, I gave this three stars as it does work as it should and seems to reasonably sturdy. What a silly idea it was to remove the headphone jack. I would only recommend it if. Someone was a very causal listener.

It's a shame that iPhones no longer have a 3.5mm headphone jack but this adapter works great and it is the real deal.

This is an authentic adapter dongle and does the job quite well. Now I can use my old headphones with my new iPhone.
