If you don’t have CarPlay or Bluetooth capability on your car radio you’ll need this for the Aux port it does what it’s supposed to well

I just got an iPhone 8, an upgrade from the iPhone 6. In lieu of the headphone jack I was fond of on the iPhone 6, there was the lightning cable jack on the iPhone 8. I couldn’t listen to music or watch anything with the headphones I had, so I had to get wireless headphones. But then I read about this product, and I decided to buy it. I love it! It works! Those wireless headphones weren’t a waste, but this adapter made the traditional headphones have a new use.

This is a nice, small attachment for your iPhone that you can keep with you and plug into an auxiliary port anywhere you go. Must have.

It is a bummer apple removed the headphone jacks from their phones, for those of us who like cabled earbuds and may use accessories like the square card reader this becomes essential. Missing jack aside, if you need a dongle to make a 3.5 jack work with lightening this is the one to get, a standard price of under $10 for OEM quality. All the aftermarket ones i saw cost more. For once apple is cheapest, who would have thunk?

I prefer using wired headphones over wireless ones, so I've been using these for my Bose headphones every day! They fit perfectly in my iPhone 14 Pro and I love how convenient they are.

So far, no issues with fraying or breakage, or poor connection quality, so I am satisfied I can use my older headphones with my newer iPhone X. It's weird, because Apple has it so the headphone port on their macbook/air is the old 3.5mm jack but if you have a newer iPhone, it would've come with a lightning jack headphone set... so sometimes having this adapter makes things easier to go back and forth. Definitely essential if you buy over-ear third-party headphones, which I did.
