This Apple® MD821ZM/A Lightning-to-USB adapter is exactly what I needed to connect my headphones to my I phone. Being able to connect now has made life so much better, listening to the highs and lows through my headphones as well as being able to hear all of the little things that the musicians put into the music that I never hear before over the radio or on the phone has made my listening experience so much better. Great purchase.

SO we drove for over 15 hours for the Christmas holidays and even with a great bluetooth battery, sooner or later the headsets will die. SO I had one of these already and the fighting began between the kids. So now I have 3 lol. I'm not going to comment on Apples choice to loose the headphone input, the competitors have already thanked them enough for that. Again, it is great but a necessary evil until someone wises up...

Sometimes you need a wired headphone / microphone adapter, and there aren't very many options with built in lightning connectors. This works, and has worked with my cheap-o Sony earbuds and my more expensive headsets. It works and these generally last longer than the cheaper versions.

This item comes in handy when having Bluetooth issues with car radios or if an area where the only option for headphones are an aux cord.

It does the job it’s made for and my headphones work great.
