Got IPhone 8 and wanted to use my headphones so I bought this. Works great.

Pros: allows me to use my wired headphones; is small and stores easily; made by Apple. Cons: is kind of spendy for such a small item; gets lost really easy; only one color.

My original adapter got misplaced and this Apple certified replacement was just the ticket.

I have purchased Bose noise cancellation headphones (old school quiet comfort 2) in the past. Although I currently own the newest QC15 wireless version, the old style requires this adapter to work with my iphone. Simple fix to be able to use my old headphones with the new Apple phones. I use my old pair on the riding lawn mower now. And, this is probably the least expensive product Apple makes!

Great for choosing your own wired earbuds. I was using bluetooth earbuds at the gym, which I cannot do at the moment since it is closed. While walking the dog, stopping to talk or take them out for whatever reason, often the bluetooth would disconnect. WIred earbuds are a better solution (and I find the Apple lightning plug earbuds uncomfortable)

Refrain from purchasing from Amazon, not knowing if they are an Apple product or not. Decided to buy from Best Buy and pay the extra money knowing it is genuine and would work. The adapter works well with my iPhone 11, now I am able to use my older more expensive wired earbuds. Would purchase again knowing it is an Apple produt.

iPhone 8 did not have the headphone jack so this adaptor was necessary. Works fine.

It’s a vital accessory for any iPhone 7 or later. It serves it purpose. Wish it was made in different colors. It can be an eyesore when paired with different phone/headphone combinations.

I needed a cable to attach my iPhone to my 70s stereo receiver. I had a rca plug to mini plug cable, but needed this to connect my iPhone. Works great. I can play the music from my phone on my Kenwood KR-5400 with Bose speakers in the man cave.

It’s a genuine Apple product. And it does what it’s supposed to.

I find this change of Apple’s product very frustrating. Not having a separate headphone jack any longer means I can’t charge while watching or listening to something long. At least there is this adaptation, which lets me listen late at night. Thankful for it since I can’t change Apple’s poor design “upgrade.”
