My son lost his iPhone headphones that have the 8 pin connector and are the only ones that work with the iPhone 7, or so I thought. I did not want to keep spending money on new Apple brand headphones made exclusively for the iPhone 7. I found this adaptor that allows a user to use regular headphones that plug into a headphone jack and it saved me a lot of money and now I can use any headphones.

I have bought so many of these! I have one in the car for hook up to an aux cord and have bought my teenage girls extras to have around. I have a iPhone 6s Plus and my audio jack was messing up but not ready to buy a new phone. I’ve used this adapter as an alternative to plugging in my headphones and listening to my phone’s downloaded music in the car.

I hate buying into Apple's absurd crap with cables, but the fact is that if you buy off-brand cables they will eventually stop working, stating that they are unsupported. If you need a headphone adaptor just take the hit and buy the Apple-branded one here. Yes it's expensive, but yes it works.

Fits perfectly with my Beats Lady GaGa headphones. Not bulky at all. Great product.

Had just purchased a new iPhone 13 pro max and had previously owned a Samsung phone that has a head phone jack. So since this phone didn’t have a jack I needed to either get wireless headphones or a adapter piece. I went for the adapter piece and it works fine!

The Apple Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone dongle works fine, it’s just a shame that we need to spend an extra $10 on something that is standard on every other device. Apple’s claim that it removed the headphone jack to make it water-resistant is all wet. The Samsung Galaxy S10 series has an IP68 rating, meaning it can withstand water to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It has a headphone jack, a SIM card slot, a USB-C socket *and* a micro SD slot for extra file storage. Many of the S10’s predecessors had IP68 ratings as well. Minus one star for Apple’s bovine patties.

Does what it’s supposed to do. I stick with apple products though sometimes I’m not sure why. Now if it was an Apple Product made in the USA - I’d feel a lot better. Somewhere over the rainbow I guess

Bought this because the ones I purchased from Amazon kept breaking or cutting out over a short time. This one kept strong and gave me no issues.

This is the go to adapter that you need. Make sure you get this Apple certified adapter. If you’re looking at other ones that might be a little cheaper just remember that it probably will have issues with other Apple products because apple relies on its certified ecosystem to work properly.

My daughter used this adapter for the entire school year to use her Frozen headphone into her school iPad. We received a good deal far better than on Amazon.com. The cord never split or broke and is still in great condition from very frequent use.

While I was not happy with the new Iphone not having a separate connector this item fits the bill. I had misplaced the one I had (it is very small) and it works great. There should be a connector with a second port to attach a power source that is available either with the phone or at least separately. (I have one I purchased and can plug in my headphones as well as keep my device charged)

You don't need to buy wireless earphones that always get lost in the back pack and easy to use for people that knows how to handle wired stuffs!
