I'm using this to help input output sound from my ipad into a apogee jam device. Basically this is a way to link outside sound/mic/instruments to my ipad. You will also need some other cords but this is one that helps on the path in. Please don't ask if it will work for you... because it depends on the various cables needed overall.

I connected this to a pair of medium range ($200) headphones to my iPhone and the sound quality was as good as a traditional headphone jack. I also had similar success using this to connect wired microphones to my phone for audio/video recording.

This product is great because my son doesn't like ear pods but he likes headphones. So for Christmas I bought my son a brand new iPhone X but it needed a adapter to use headphones. When I finally bought the adapter it was great because my son can use his headphones without the hassle.

It does what I need it to. Friends with iPhones used it to play music in my car on a road trip. Worked great

I decided to purchase this with a new set of headphones not expecting it would help the sound. From the headphones. I was pleasantly surprised as the sound had no degradation. The Bose headphones and this adapter have allowed me to carry tow less sets of headphones as I now am covered for all my uses.

Bought a new iphone and this adapter was not included, but it was included when I bought an iphone about 2 years ago. Apple should still include this adapter, but oh well. Same price as Apple store, so that's fine. Works like it should. If you need an adapter, this is really the only choice.

If you ever wondered what device would make your iPhone 7 or 7+ without a headphone jack accessible to normal wired-headphones, that would be this device, only for a few dollars you can have access to your iPhone 7 with this dongle. Yeah, it’s something else to lose, but on those rare occasions when you need one this is it.

I have an older vehicle and have been using my auxiliary port with a cable plugged into my headphone jack on my phone in order to listen to my music in the car. When I purchased my new phone, I learned that it did not have a headphone jack. I purchased this little adapter and it works perfectly!

I was sceptical at first reading reviews about this adapter. Brand: Apple is listed on the product page right under header line however looking at reviews obviously some people got compatible adapters and some original brand Apple. The key difference between Apple and not is the list of features that the adapter supports. I was lucky enough to get the original Apple brand "Lightning to Headphone Jack" adapter. It supports music playback to any headphones, volume and call control on Apple headphones and the ones that are compatible. Looking through features of other lighting to headphone adapters not necessary cheaper you can see that only some support volume control and very few call control. Good product and value if you get original Apple Brand adapter. Tested on iPhone 7+ It supports music, volume and call control.

With technology changing every second, having this adapter makes it possible to still connect my earphones to my iphone. The sound is outstanding and makes it feel that you are connected directly. I recommend this product.

Apple Lighting to 3.55 mm headphone adapter is a great product. No loss of sound while using this adapter to connect my wired headphones to smartphone. Works great and no to less distortion overall

Works as listed for headphones or to use with an aux cord i needed this for my car as it only takes aux cord i just can’t drive with no music

I bought this adapter to use with a 3.5 mm stereo cord to patch my wife's iPhone's jack to my old desktop's Line In jack, and transcribe voice mail messages from our land line. It worked slick as a whistle.

Now I don’t like having to have more wires attached to my phone but I have to because of the earphones I like to wear being that they have an auxiliary jack, but I Don’t mind this adapter. It’s actually pretty good because it’s small and doesn’t creat much problems for myself. I like it

Great sound especially for car and in the gym. Easy to use

The Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone does its job flawlessly , enabling older 3.5mm EarPods and all other headsets to connect to the lightning port of new iPhones and iPads. You pay a premium for this accessory compared to non-apple brands, but it's worth it.

What more is there to really say? The only concern I have is that the wire is exceedingly thin, but then again, this is going to be for occasional use only when I'm on a plane. Sound quality is good with my trusty Bose QC2 and Iphone XR and the connectors feel solid.

Nice little adapter for my headphones to cell phone

I have my favorite ear buds that are soft and perfect size for my ears but when I got my new phone I thought for sure I would have to give up my favorite earbuds. However with this adapter its small enough, with no long wires to tangle up, That I can carry with me and use my favorite ear buds..perfect
