Great for connecting wired headsets to my iPhone. There are all sorts of cheapo adapters out there (on Amazon, etc) - but this Apple adapter actually works properly and lasts a long time. Worth it to get quality.

Does what it is supposed to do. We have a older pair of Bose Quiet Comfort headphones and now we can use them with iPhone but more importantly with our Mac computer for video gaming. Great prpduct.

This adapter for the headset on newer iPhone models works as expected. Price-wise there is no reason to search elsewhere. We ordered 3 after phone updates and all have worked just fine. As another reviewer mentioned, it is easier to leave these plugged into your actual headset.

The product is good and works as advertised. Apple likes one off products to keeps their customers spending money.

Seems to be working well. I had another one I bought from a local gas station that came along with a pair of earbuds. My iPhone kept giving a message that stated it wasn’t a supported device. Now that I have this one, it doesn’t give the error message.

Great product. We use it at our local church to put music from the iPhone to the mixer. Works great.

The adapter allows me to attach a small microphone to my iPhone. This attachment enables a certain app in my iPhone to capture much, if not all, of what is being spoken and to translate speech to text so that I can grasp most of what is being spoken in any room or during a seminar.

I got tired of people asking me if they could play their "selection" (song, or dance routine music), over my P.A. system with their Apple product, so I decided to grab this item while it was on Sale, so I no longer had to rely on them to bring their own dongle.

I’m glad these are relatively affordable and simple because I was not happy about losing my 1/8th inch jack. This isn’t as inconvenient as I thought it might be, but it is a shame you can’t listen and charge simultaneously.

Great for headphones! Listening on Cell Phone apple music and just as good with your car’s speakers plugged to your cell phone. Yup I’m old school. These work great ! No static ! Sound is crisp!

I purchased a headphone adapter for my Bose headphones online. It came in a package of two and were relatively cheap but neither one of them worked! This adapter worked first time out of the box and I’ve had no problem with them since. It pays to buy Apple products.....lesson learned.

If you still prefer wired earbuds or headphones (like I do) then this is required for attaching them to newer iPhones. They work well! Be careful though, they are small and easy to lose if you disconnect them from your headphones.

I didn't even know that this existed. I hate the ear buds sticking out of people's ears because I think they look awful. I much prefer seeing the old fashioned earphones and now I can have my cake and eat it. this product adapts to my iphone XR and I can use the earphones that I love.

I needed an extra lightning adapter for the new Beats headphones I bought so I initially purchased an off brand adapter from Amazon and it did not work right out of the packaging. Genuine Apple products have yet to fail me. You pay extra, but it is for the quality and you definitely get what you pay for.

For my iPhone 8+ I need a lightning to 3.5mm adapter to use my awesome headphones and my other ear buds. The earbuds that came with my iPhone 8plus already broke and apple/Verizon doesn’t seem to want to exchange or fix them. Their lightning earbuds have a bad history which is why I needed this purchase.

Let’s me use my old non-Apple earphones with my iPhone 13.
