My daughter got a new iPhone 7 that comes with this adapter (since the phone does not have a headphones plug), but she keeps complaining that she forgot to bring the adapter with her in the car so she can plug her phone into the stereo to listen to her music. 2nd adapter for the car for $10; problem solved!

If you still prefer wired earbuds or headphones (like I do) then this is required for attaching them to newer iPhones. They work well! Be careful though, they are small and easy to lose if you disconnect them from your headphones.

My daughter loves using the headphones instead of airpods so she decided she wanted to use this device to connect her phone. It was overall useful and works great!

Great ! I have headphones that I needed some adapter s for to be able to use them in my apple x max phone! They work great! I bought 2... one for my husband and I! Glad to know Best But carries them! Will definitely recommend them again! Bought these before Christmas!

Lets me plug my IEMs into my phone to enjoy lossless content. Sounds as good as most dongle DACs and just works.

I was really impressed with the ease of the installation from the iPhone lightening to the analog input. I was able to play my music easily on my stock car stereo using this wire from my iPhone 7+. No background noise, no data noise. Just clean streaming music with clear sound. Very good product for it's money.

Seems to be working well. I had another one I bought from a local gas station that came along with a pair of earbuds. My iPhone kept giving a message that stated it wasn’t a supported device. Now that I have this one, it doesn’t give the error message.

Is it annoying that you need one? Yes. But this isn't reviewing a weird decision that Apple made a couple years ago. The dongle works well, holds up pretty well and isn't too expensive. Only issue is that I lose it a bit too easily but again that's not an issue with the item itself.

The iPhone headphone adapter purchased for my SE 2nd generation iPhone worked perfectly and made my recent airplane trip extremely enjoyable. The small cost was well worth it!

So the fact that you may need to carry this in you purse or wallet is lessened by how small it is fits in most tight spaces and comes in handy if you need to connect to aux. you won't use it often so it's okay if it sinks to the bottom of your bag. Note I leave mine attached to headphones so it is easier to find.

It works great, but should have been included when I bought the phone

I got tired of people asking me if they could play their "selection" (song, or dance routine music), over my P.A. system with their Apple product, so I decided to grab this item while it was on Sale, so I no longer had to rely on them to bring their own dongle.

This product does exactly what it should. It connects to the lightning port and allows you to plug regular headphones into it. I feel like Apple should bring back an auxiliary port in their phone, but this will do for now. I recommend this product, especially if you don’t have the AirPods.

I got one of these with my phone and figured I would never use it so I gave it away. When I travel I found out I needed it for my earbuds, I usually have wireless headphones but you need the earbuds to watch the movies. With this device I only need to cart around the earbuds. So I purchased another at Best Buy.

This adapter for the headset on newer iPhone models works as expected. Price-wise there is no reason to search elsewhere. We ordered 3 after phone updates and all have worked just fine. As another reviewer mentioned, it is easier to leave these plugged into your actual headset.

We needed this for our new IPhones I wanted to make sure we got genuine Apple. These are very short so they don't add a lot of length to your headphones which is fine. Less to get tangled. Plugged them right in and they work perfect.

The product is good and works as advertised. Apple likes one off products to keeps their customers spending money.

So far so good. Firmly connects to the aux cord and don't have any problems in reception or staying plugged in. This is my second purchase of this adapter (lost the other), and still works just as well.

The adapter allows me to attach a small microphone to my iPhone. This attachment enables a certain app in my iPhone to capture much, if not all, of what is being spoken and to translate speech to text so that I can grasp most of what is being spoken in any room or during a seminar.
