This is a very handy cable to have, note that if you're using this adapter for a gaming headset or anything utilizing a microphone, on the Apple cables will do this, the generic cheap ones only allow audio traffic one way so it's headphones only.

If you have any older headphones you need this adapter so they work with the new phone. No round plug in on phone and no adapter in the box. Apple could have been nice and included it with purchase, but save a trip back to the store and pick one up when you buy the new iPhone XS

I needed to pick up a headphone adapter for my Apple Phone. I was thrilled to find out that Best Buy carried them in stock. Now I can use a better set of headphones to listen during Zoom meetings. Works much better than a standard earbud setup.

I was right in the middle of a conference call and my earbuds went dead... and I didn't have the lightning adapter. Luckily, my daughter delivered for ole Dad and I purchased my own right after the call. When you need it, you better have it!

If you have one of the latest iphones, then this adapter is just what you will need to use your existing pods or headphones with a 3.5mm jack. All the new iphones did away with the 3.5mm headphone jack and do everything now thru the lightning jack. Works perfectly for my needs.

I lost my adapter for my iPhone 7, so I purchased the stock replacement for it. I've read mixed reviews for aftermath adapters, so I used that information to buy the genuine Apple adapter. Having to need an adapter for the iPhone 7 is the one thing I do not like about the phone, but I understand this new feature allows the iPhone to be water resistant. If I were to drop my iPhone in a pool accidentally etc, I will appreciate the fact I need an adapter. Otherwise the phone is toast.

Wish this dongle wasn't necessary, but it is. Fortunately it's also pretty inexpensive so you can have several of them around since you're probably going to lose one. Works flawlessly with wired headphones on iPhones without headphone jacks.

New apple phones (water proof) removed the hole plug in spot 4 earbuds etc etc so u need the adapter to plug in2 ur apple I phone in the same place ur charger plugs in2..of course apple is 2 flipping cheat to supply u w/1 seeing they removed the hole insert...

I purchased this item to listen to my music used in my vehicle. Works perfect, no knockoff's because if you use other than authentic you will get a message that will display "unable to connect, not compatible." Do not substitute, you will not be disappointed!!

I tried a couple of generic branded cables with my iPhone 7 and my Bose headsets and they would work for 30 - 60 seconds and then generate an unsupported device error. This cable has never had that problem and is working the way it should. Stick to the Apple brand on this one.

Convenient little adapter if you want to connect an iPhone to wired headphones or an aux input port on a portable speaker or a car stereo. Seems to work well. The price is reasonable.

Connects my new iPhone to 3.5 mm cables or headphones. Might not need it in a few years since everything is going wireless, but in the meantime this works like it's supposed to. Compact, reliable, and inexpensive. Might get lost easy though, but that's on me.
