Used it to add an external microphone to an Ipad. Works exactly as advertised. Only trick is to make sure the microphone is plugged in to the adapter before plugging the adapter into the Ipad.

This is just one more dongle to deal with. Apple should not have gotten rid of the headphone jack. Bluetooth is not always the best way to get the strongest signal.

Great to use with the headphones we already hace at home

Provides a neat little, precisely-fitting bridge between earbuds and the iPhone SE/2020 and the sound quality is unimpeded. However, I do think that this ten-buck item should be included as part of the phone purchase.

If you own an IPhone 7 you need this for wired headphones. I always keep a spare just in case. This adaptor only lets you listen to wired headphones. You can not charge and listen to wired headphones at the same time. If you need to do that get the 2 in 1 headphone and charger adapter!

I purchased this on my girlfriend could connect her phone to her car. It is easy enough to install. I wish it came in black so I can match it with the 3.5 mm cable that was needed to complete the connection. Even better, why not have a lightning to 3.5 mm cable?

This is a must for anyone with an iPhone 8 or higher. It allows me to plug in my headphones that are not wireless or my wireless that are not charged (so I need a cord) into my apple iPhone XR. Great purchase....so happy I have it, and an essential piece to own.

For the newest iPhones with no headphone jack; and the small cost of this adapter, I have a few lying around. It's a bummer to have to use such an adapter but they are small, low cost and relatively unobtrusive.

I just purchased a new cell phone that no longer has an headphone jack and I lost the adapter that came with the phone. I was so bummed! Thank goodness Best Buy carries it. The adapter works so good. My music sounds good and I can hear my calls so clearly!

I use this adapter all of the time since I got my new iPhone 11! I know most people don't need this since they use either bluetooth or the new iPhone earbuds, but this adapter works perfectly with my anti-radiation air tube headphones.

If you have a newer iPhone and older set of headphones you need this adaptor. Works as it's supposed to. I'm a little surprised there aren't less expensive second party alternatives to this Apple product but at $9.99 it won't break you.

This phone a a low end iPhone but I don’t see any feature it lacks over my last iPhone. There were some comments about more frequent battery charging s but I haven’t noticed any difference. I would purchase this phone again.

The Apple - Lightning-to-3.5 mm headphone adapter works perfectly. It provides a great connection from my headphones to my iPhone.

Had some brand new older model iPhone headphones that I couldn’t use with the newer model iPhones. This came in handy so I didn’t have to buy a brand new set of headphones. Apple always has you covered with whatever you may need!

Excellent ! Very easy to use. Small and impactful. There are a lot of options out there, but I wanted to have a small adapter and a genuine one at the same time. This served the purpose.

I recently lost my adapter, and BestBuy had a spare on sale, I like how this was easy to buy and it's from apple, I don't like to buy an of the market. Great buy to replace my lost adapter.
