I bought a similar after market product off of Amazon which wouldn't work in my I-Phone 7, so I had to purchase the authorized product from Best Buy and it works perfectly.

Item does exactly what it describes. needed this to hook my phone up to old speakers for my garage gym. I would say the only downside is the factory apple product cords tend to separate very easily and have had that happen multiple times

Does what it’s made for. It’s not very good for frying chicken or grooming the cat. Sheesh.

My new iPhone SE 2020 does not have a headphone jack so this adapter is needed to listen to audio on headphones. The adapter works perfectly.

item was packaged in an Apple box and appears to be original. this is the second one I purchased and it is below Spple's price

Purchased to keep in laptop case to plug wired headphones into iPhone8. Not much to say other than it works for what it was intended for; plugging headphones into iPhone.

Allows me to use our Iphone SE and Iphone 12 with with older technology sound systems. Inexpensive fix for a problem.

After buying this, I totally forgot that one came with my iPhone 7 and that it was in the box. So if you are needing this adapter, make sure you check the box your phone came in! LOL

I purchased a less expensive no name brand before which didn't last very long. The original Apple product cost more money but will last longer.

Elimination of the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the newer iPhones requires one to purchase this adapter to use older accessories with the new phone. Works fine.

It does exactly what it needed to do. I just wish it was a little less although it was on sale.
