It does exactly what we bought it for. My daughter lost her i7 headphones. So this adapter with her old headphones was a cheaper solution.

I lost my iPods during a flight. I was not able to watch or listen to anything as headsets were required on each flight. Both air carriers only had the plug in ear pieces no adapters. Hence, adapter is a must have now.

Apple should of included this with their phone and not make use buy it separate since they took the headphone jack away!!

Works perfectly, just as expected! I'd bought several off of Amazon that didn't work, so I went to Best Buy because its always reliable.

This little guy is easy to lose and does not hold up to much abuse, but necessary if you want to use corded headphones with new iphones... Thankful that this was on sale when I bought it. Thinking about buying a few more since I'm bound to lose them.
