This is great to enable use of any regular headphones with newer iphones or an older iphone with broken headphone port.

It works how it is supposed to, doesn't cost much, and will last longer than any other on the market. Perfect for square although they also offer a portable card reader with the lightning cable on the end of iPhone X users or whatever.

Got a new set of AirPods but keep my old EarPods in my office. This connector works great. Sound quality is great with ways.
