    It is a must. I use it to help me connect outside microphones to my iPhone. It is a must for headsets.

    I bought this for my son bc in order to use different type of ear buds he needs this adapter. But when I bought this, I also purchased air pods so it was kind of mute point. He has the adapter if he needs it

    I like that it’s not too pricy, it works well and is definitely needed for iPhone 7 and up, but just wish that there was some way to play music and charge the phone at the same time. This product does not do that.
