The adapter is good and it is genuine Apple quality. I feel it is a bit overpriced at $10.00. The store had no off-brand units which are good enough at a better price.

As one of those who had plenty of wired headphones, I was disappointed to note that IPhoneX had done away with the headphone jack. This adapter nicely fit the bill for me. It is short, elegant and very useful.
