It's a dongle...ug
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knocked it one start for spite. The fact that I need a dongle is the problem. My original dongle failed, so I replaced it with a new one. They should have had the courage to keep the headphone jack.

One is provided with a new iPhone 8Plus however, I own both Bose earbuds and the Quiet Comfort headphones. I prefer the over the ear headphones when flying. I wanted a second adapter for convenience and accommodate both listening options. The converter is rather tiny and I anticipate loss control as an issue. The cost seems a bit outrageous, but I assume it includes an extra $5 for the Apple logo. What are you going to do?

Still can’t believe apple wouldn’t leave that I put in the phone but that is not the point. This works, is the apple product so is a little expensive.

It's a "wish I didn't need this, but I do" adapter

The old one stopped working, so a new one was needed. I took the old one in, showed it to a worker, and asked him if they had any of these things. He had a pile by the register. After I waited for him to explain to 2 people that 1) he didn't want to know their passcode and 2) they needed to go to Geek Squad, I was on my way.
