I tend to misplace iphone accessories so I will sometimes buy them on Ebay for a few dollars. The problem is they aren't supported by iphone and therefore dont' work very well. So I went ahead and bought the Apple product which works just fine. Worth it to get the real deal. Best Buy carries original Apple products and I happened to find a store convenient to me while I was in New York.

I was talking to Adele on the phone and she was really loud (as usual) and everyone around me could hear her talk about how amazing I was, so I went to use my headphones but couldn't find my adapter. You can't use wired headphones without it. So I yelled at Adele and she became enraged and we broke up. That's how she wrote her song. It was all because of the lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter. Easy to use does what it should use with headphones

This indispensable item repairs the damage from Apple’s questionable decision to remove the headphone jack from the latest Iphones. I love wireless convenience as much as anyone, but for those who prioritize sound quality, there is still no substitute for a hardwired connection. Apparently many people agree. There is a reason why this little dongle is Best Buy’s #1 selling Apple product.

I think at the time I bought these the sticker price was little high but they have since come to their senses. Who doesn't love a good 10$ apple accessorie. You're gonna want like 3-4 of these because you will lose them or they will wear out. other than that they just work!

Very handy! We have to take our two-year old to the audiologist to have her hearing evaluated in a couple weeks and they asked that we prepare her for the test by getting her used to earbuds. Well, we realized that we had earbuds, but nothing we could plug them into! This handy little device solved all our problems!

The apple adapter is definitely a necessary accessory if you've upgraded your iPhone to a 7, if you want to be able to use your new device with products, like speakers, non apple earbuds, etc. It's not expensive, and it works well, and seamlessly. You can't tell you're using an adapter, and they last a long time, I bought my first one over a year ago, and there hasn't been any degradation in the quality.
