Great product to have to adapt all apple devices to aux cord or other inputs. This item makes things compatiable to all other devices with no issues.

Works great on windows and on MAC. bought this because my company issued me a junk Acer notebook tablet thing that only has USB C connections. With this little adapter (super cheap too) I'm able to use full size usb and transfer data. I even use this on my Note 8 to hook up a USB drive. I bought 2 more after I realized how useful they are.

Apple dropped the ball big time by getting rid of the audio jacks and putting everything through the lightning socket. Fortunately there’s this adapter that allows you to hook up your 3.5mm corded devices to the lightning socket phones... just don’t lose it. It’s so easy to lose. Seriously, this is the 5th one I’ve had to buy.

This item works very well with my product. Great quality.

Unfortunate that these are necessary for using wired headphones, but it’s not this adapter’s fault. You can buy this for $10 or buy AirPods for $150+. This is a great accessory and works with my aux cable in the car and with my wired headphones.

I am now on my third lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter since getting my phone in the spring. That's not good. The adapter is capable of doing exactly what it says on the package and turns the lightning connector into a 3.5mm jack. I wish I didn't need it, but for reasons I won't get into, I do. The construction of the dongle is so flimsy that the short wire between the lightning connector and the headphone jack is incredibly easy to pinch or break. These have broken under what I would professionally regard as "normal" usage, not getting wires caught in exercise machines. This is probably the last one I will buy, even with my continued need for a 3.5mm output for my phone, as other manufacturers and retailers are now producing much better quality adapters. They may cost a little more, but even at the low price $10 a piece for the Apple OEM dongle it adds up when you have to keep replacing failed equipment. I have given 2 stars because the dongle DOES work exactly as advertised...until it breaks.

Always stock up on these when the price goes down since my son continuously loses the adapter needed to use 3.5 headphones with his iPhone 7. The lightning headphones are long gone. As are replacement lightning headphones. Easier to plug one of these to one of the many 3.5 pairs laying aroung the house than buy another pair of lightning ones (which are subsequently lost). Haven't tried cheapy versions from online sellers but would expect them to be the same as lightning charger cables - crap. PS thanks Apple for the brilliant jack change idea...

I like buying earbuds with this attachment just in case I need headphones at work. Being able to plug in the computers using earbuds is nice. A lot of my work training is on computers with no speakers. This little attachment in the proper earbuds come in real handy.

Having the iPhone 8 Plus I was limited to using my car stereo auxiliary cord because the new iPhone doesn’t have a headphone port. I was surprised to see that this adapter cost under $10 which was a plus for me because we all know Apple products aren’t cheap. I’m satisfied with this product and recommend it for anyone with the new iPhone.

If you need 3.5mm jack on your iPhone, this is what you need. Works great and I can't tell the difference plugged into an iPhone that has a headphone jack vs one using this adapter. Apple should include this with their phones, but they don't. It probably costs them a few cents to make. meh.

Very durable, easy to connect, secure connection and great sound

If you have old headphones and don’t want to upgrade this little adapter works well. I use mostly when traveling because I want headphones for my new phone and gene on airplane can use same headphones to connect to airplane video screen. That way I only need to bring one pair of headphones.
