Does what it is supposed to do If you have an existing headphones that are not wireless then this will save you money but not having to buy a wireless headphone Also some folks like the wired headphones that can provide great sound snd clarity This item is quite small do it does not take up much storage space especially when you are traveling All together a great buy

I upgraded my iPhone and now there’s no headphone port. This adapter allowed me to use existing 3.5mm accessories through the lighting charging port. I was concerned my lavaliere wireless microphone and sound boom would be useless now but this adapter works with both. One drawback found by not having a headset port, I cannot listen to my sleep meditations at night AND have the phone charging. That’s not an adapter issue, it’s a phone design failure.

This is a great adapter that allows you to extend the use of your devices that can only connect to the audio output using a 3.5mm jack. I expect over the years to have less use of this as more and more devices I will own will be supporting Bluetooth audio. This adapter is nice and small, simple to use. It's practical to have a few extra adapters plugged into the headphones, car audio cables,etc ready for our use with the new iPhone. It would be nice to have a version of this type of an adapter also with an option to simultaneously charge your phone (e.g. in the car).

The newer iPhone's have the lightning port/earphones in one port. Apple has removed the dedicated earphone port. Apple wants you to use their earphones, this adapter/dongle will allow you to use your own earphones! It's small, easy to install and you don't have to use Apple's earphones if you don't want to! If you have a favorite set of earphones you can still use it with this adapter! You will not be disappointed!

This cord is a great accessory. I use it for a pair of higher end over-ear-headphones that allow for a wire exchange. Great way and value to keep your old school headphones with a 3.5mm jack. There is not any deficit or downgrade in sound quality with this auxiliary cord. I have not heard experienced any connection feedback and or disconnect that I can speak of. I would recommend to anyone and everyone this product.

Great product. Purchased to allow my son to listen to his iPhone through the Aux port in the radio of his Jeep, which lacked Bluetooth. Value: Only two stars here. I hate that I had even to buy it, since Apple “courageously” did away with the headphone jack in their phones and no longer includes it with new iPhones. So two stars based on the principle of the matter. Durability: The adapter has been durable over the years and works exactly as intended. Ease of Use: Excellent. You literally just plug the lightening port side into the phone and the other side into the 3.5 mm aux cable.

This Apple headphones adapter has worked great even with other brands of headphones . The sound quality has been excellent and I haven't had any issues with it becoming unplugged or not connecting well causing crackling or distortion. I listen to a lot of audio books while I work, and it's been perfect for me. Thanks Apple!

I have many headsets from past phones. I was disappointed when I realized my new phone could only use Bluetooth. Until I found this beauty. The fit is tight so it stays together when I’m at the gym. Much better than the generic version.

Fits neatly into my XS max phone. No problems with connection. Excellent audio quality. Works with my old Beats and Apple headsets. Thought I would miss my 3.5 mm jack. I don’t. I will probably go back and pick up the dual lightning adapter so that I can charge while listening.

The Apple lightning to headphone adapter does its intended job, but would not be needed if the headphone jack was not removed from the newer iPhones. Plus, you now can’t charge your phone (unless you have a wireless charger, another expense)!and use the headphones at the same time.

Wired headphones will always sound better and be more reliable than bluetooth and this adapter proves it even with apple trying to go all wireless. Plan on buying another to keep in the car

This Apple adapter cable allows me to use my wired earbuds with my iPhone. It sounds strange that someone might want to use wired earbuds instead of Bluetooth earbuds but the wired earbuds don't fail or run out of battery power. Mine failed and I have not replaced them yet so I use my wired earbuds almost every day. This cable enables me to do that.

It's perfect, it does the job well. I don't have too many applications where i need this adapter, but it has served it's purpose. Recently bought the Airpods Max and I am looking to buy another to use them with my laptop which has a 3.5mm port.

I needed this adapter for work to conduct interviews. It was easy to attach to phone which is and antiquated iPhone.Vlients do not complain about not hearing me or background echos. I am an android user which is easy to obtain attachments such as earbuds etc. This purchase has definitely made my work day more effective

Firstly, I don't do wireless when I'm listening to music. For the phone application, a wireless earpiece is a must. Music is a totally different beast altogether. Apple uses Cirrus Logic DAC's, some of the best in the industry, proven by better ears than mine, but with the removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack, this least expensive Apple accessory offered is an obvious must-have for the Audio Connoisseur. To access the audio stream as cleanly as possible wired is the preferred method and this little baby does just that best at this price point. You can spend more money and gain some more detailed imaging, but there comes a point called, diminishing returns. More money spent, not much more audio actually gained. Most of my audio files are not DSD, but FLAC, MP3 etc... So for $10.00, Deal, count me in. Until wireless can match wired, not likely, it's the dongle life for me. I have NO problem with that. As long as Apple keeps using High-Quality DAC's, I'll keep buying iPhones that play Hi-Res, DSD, Flac, Hi Freq on Tune-In etc...
