If you have one of the latest iphones, then this adapter is just what you will need to use your existing pods or headphones with a 3.5mm jack. All the new iphones did away with the 3.5mm headphone jack and do everything now thru the lightning jack. Works perfectly for my needs.

I needed a second 3.5mm adapter for my car so that I don't put too much strain on the one I use for my wired headphones/phone calls.

This adapter works great and I always use it when I’m out and about.

I tried a couple of generic branded cables with my iPhone 7 and my Bose headsets and they would work for 30 - 60 seconds and then generate an unsupported device error. This cable has never had that problem and is working the way it should. Stick to the Apple brand on this one.

I lost my adapter for my iPhone 7, so I purchased the stock replacement for it. I've read mixed reviews for aftermath adapters, so I used that information to buy the genuine Apple adapter. Having to need an adapter for the iPhone 7 is the one thing I do not like about the phone, but I understand this new feature allows the iPhone to be water resistant. If I were to drop my iPhone in a pool accidentally etc, I will appreciate the fact I need an adapter. Otherwise the phone is toast.

This has been a lifesaver since phones don't have headphone jacks anymore. Bought this a while ago and it still works the same as when I first got it. Love this and will use it until it breaks, which I don't see happening any time soon

Pretty straightforward cable -- allows you headphone capability with any lightning connection. Play tablet games silently or use it to connect your tablet or lightning iDevice to any convention analog TRS connection. (Also very affordable compared to other specialized Apple cables).

Love it; is very light & works very well with my headphones for listening to music through my IPhone XR. Saved me the hassle of buying a different set of headphones or earbuds. Great value & I would highly recommend to anyone!

worked like magic! I still have the "old" 3.5mm jack headphones from 2018 before earpods became earpods. No point on going wireless when wired is the way to go. Its reliable and no one spies on you via bluetooth.

Genuine Apple. Great quality as expected. Glad Best Buy being a trustworthy place to buy Apple products with great deals now and then. Inexpensive solution to continue to use all the backup earphones accumulated over the years.

Obviously apple made the iPhone 7 this way to make more money but honestly this thing works great, I'm pretty sure it even makes the sound louder and more clear. I would recommend getting the apple connecter rather than any off brand cheap-o one. It's not a bad price either for an apple product!

It works for its intended use. Unlike some I'm not overly "annoyed" at the iPhone 7's lack of 3.5mm headphone jack. It is kind of a bummer to not be able to charge and listen at the same time, but this isn't a review for the phone, its a review for the adaptor. It works well, it doesn't unplug from the headphones or auxiliary cord easily, or yank out from the phone easily. And allows me to listen to music from my phone at the office, in my wifes car, or wherever I may desire. Yay.

I had been looking for one of these adapters for my mom. She would struggle because she wasn’t able to use any other earphones and after buying this she is happy because she can use any earphones she has.

The adapter does what it is supposed to do. I would prefer if Apple had just left the headphone jack in place.

Quality item. Nothing much to it - simply plug in your headphones and then plug this into your phone. Unfortunate that this is required but it's cheap and does the job.

I was very happy to find out that I could listen to my playlist from my iPhone through Apple lightening adapter in my truck. I am very happy with the technology that I able to use. Thank you best buy for offering the adapter at a very good price.

Apple Airbuds do not fit in my ears. This was the perfect solution so I can use regular earbuds with my iPhone. I even used the adapter for a work event to connect my phone to a laptop when the event location didn't have an adapter ready to use.
