It is just like the one that cones with the phone.

New Phones have no 3.5mm headphone jack necessitating new adapters. Progress!!??!!

Yeah so its $10 but I am now able to use some old headphones while mowing the lawn without getting all sweaty on my Beats.

I use it when I’m not in my car and it works nicely but it also depends the aux your using.

If you were unlucky enough to buy an Iphone, then you'll need this second adapter while android users just plug in one thing. I had to spend an extra $20 on this in addition to the wire so my wife could play her music in her car, my Note 8 just used a wire, got it for less than $5. Buy a real phone!!

It was a Good price and works well in 6 & 7 iPhones

High quality, but an expensive necessary addition to an already expensive product---Iphone 7. It may be worth waiting for the generic.

It works like it says it does. No problems at all.

The lightning to 3.5mm adapter works as expected so that wired headphones can be connected.

Overall this adapter works well, but it has some issues with non-apple headphones. With apple ear pods it works seamlessly. However I get periodic clicking and odd sound with Samsung earbuds until I hold in the volume up or down button for a few seconds. This seems to calibrate the adapter to work with non apple earbuds, and must be done each time.

I sometimes need to connect to an amplifier or sound system not blue tooth or usb equipped and this allows me to do it the way I was always able with the older phone that had a separate headphone jack. I understand why Apple made the change but it is a little inconvenient.
