This little dongle allows the use of your iPhone/iPod touch to play music through your cars aux plug. Thanks Apple for removing the earphone plug on your products necessitating purchase of yet another accessory which should be free with iPhone purchase.

This solves the "problem" of the new iPhones "requiring" Bluetooth/wireless headphones. Those can be used, but so can plug-in head phones, and personally I like options. This adapter is a hard-to-find product. One was included with my new iphone 7+ when I purchased it nine months ago. After I lost it, I started looking for the item online and was surprised to see it in stock at my local Best Buy. It’s the day after allows me to use all of my old earbuds with the new iPhone.

works perfectly so I can use my existing headphones and ear buds with my new iPhone, which only supports lightning connection or Bluetooth. Only drawback is that it is very small so be careful how you store it if you remove it from the audio jack.

When wanting to use other accessories that need an audio jack to lighting port. This accessory is my go to.

What a blessing! Bought an iPhone before preparing my car for the switch. Ran into Best Buy and this little accessory saved my bacon! Plugs right into my aux cord so I’m not missing out on music or google maps directions. If you need it, GET IT!

My daughter lost her headphone adapter. I bought an off-brand one to try (it had a splitter so you could charge at the same time) and the input broke off - IN THE NEW IPHONE - within days. I was happy (and surprised) to buy this actual Apple product at a reasonable price. Won't make that mistake again!

This product is authentic apple product and helps connect the old headphones with 3.5mm jack to the newer iphone which does not have the 3.5mm jack anymore. This is a very good alternative if you do not like the idea of using the wireless bluetooth earbuds that may need frequent charging.

I highly recommend only buying apple products for your apple iPhone because if you use other products they damage your iPhone. I bought a bootleg adapter for cheap when I lost mine which screwed up my iPhone; its better to invest extra cash on the actual adapter, so your phone quality remains intact.

The adapter allows me to be able to use six cord in my truck to place the music from my iPhone. I have gone through several over the last few years. I wished they would create a more robust cord that is more able to take abuse but it is serving it’s purpose

This is the perfect solution for when you have an iPhone, but need a headphone jack like I do as a yoga instructor who has to connect into various hardware at different locations.
