This is a MUST have if you have headphones with the 3.5mm connector on the end and want to plug them into any of the Apple "new generation" listening devices; for instance, switching from a Samsung phone to an iPhone.

this ink goes on forever.When you start to see an ink error of almost keep goin and going> When it really gets serious then hold the power button down for 3-5 seconds and it resets and continues

Prior to purchasing this adapter, I had purchased 2 diff ones on AMZN — both of which failed (poor/inconsistent sound quality; prongs broke off/stuck in iPhone port). Haven’t had this adapter v long, but so far so good.

Since the new iPhones do not have a headphone jack this allows the use of wired headphones.

I got his to ensure I could still use many of my audio commentiona even with my new iPhone 7. Works great.

I would recommend this product to other consumers. I have had this before and have had no problems.

My son just got a new iPhone which only has the lightning connector for the earbuds. The iPhone XS no longer has the straight Jack. This adapter worked perfectly so that he could continue to use earbuds and headphones he already has with the new phone

My world has opened up. With the addition of approximately 3 inches (it ain't the length, it's how you use it), I can now privately listen to things coming out of my new phone while using my old ear buds. Good ol' ear buds. They're good. They're buds. And they go in my ears. And now they connect to my iPhone 8. One happy family again. I can't continue because the tears of joy flowing from my eyes are blurring my vision.

Got tired of using the Apple provided earbuds, as the ones I had for old phone worked great. This adapter works perfectly. I tried an off brand splitter style adapter, power and audio connections, and that did not work, so went to this option and glad I did.

Kinda surprised that they still make these. Good for us old school people who still use wired headphones. I guess we're a dying breed, but they're better than wireless ones.

If you use headphones often I would recommend purchasing a few of these. Not because they’re easy to lose, but because they don’t last long if you’re an avid headphone user. From jogging and using headphones at work the part where the cable and lighting adapter meet became damaged with in 2 months. It would still work usually, although if you move the wrong way or tap it just right it will either bring up voice control, Siri, fast forward podcasts, skip podcast episodes, skip songs, or just cut out all together while still playing music or podcasts. Sure, these things are basically mandatory when owning any iPhone after they’ve got rid of the AUX input. But, Apple could have done a better job making these. Luckily, they’re not expensive. Buy at least 2 whenever you need to buy one.

Works great as a transition for an apple phone and allows you to purchase cheaper corded earphones

This is an Apple-branded adapter and works as expected. No issues with adapter works as expected.

It works. It serves the purpose. The price, set by Apple, is ridiculously high for two tiny connectors. More important, Lightning connectors should be or are being phased out. The world is moving to USB-C while Apple is pushing us to magnetic interfaces. Buy only if necessary.

I bought this for my Daughter. She absolutely loved it. Easy to use. Lightweight. Very happy.
