We use a multi-track software for church they requires us to connect to our iPhone/iPad and output via 1/8” audio jack. This has worked perfectly to get our audio playing for our musicians and singers.

This product is a life saver so that cheaper earbuds can work with my phone.

Apple for the most part is excellent products! They always do what they’re supposed to do and I’ve only once ever had a problem with their products. FYI Don’t buy a MacBook Air its rubbish!

Pretty good adapter, allowing for standard AUX headphones to be toggled between laptops or other electronic devices and newer iPhones. Sometimes the audio cuts out if the adapter is moved too much or too often, the connection can get jumbled. A quick readjustment usually fixes the sound disruption.

this cord, sold by Apple, works as advertised as a charging device for my iphone.

Required if your need to plug your old headphones into an iPhone 7. I have a nice pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones, but this adapter was required to allow me to connect. I tried some third-party adapters, they were rejected by my iPhone as "not compatible." Plus, I use one for my Square credit card reader. But $9.99 seems like a high price for such a small item. But that's Apple for you.

Only Buy Apple made adapter. The original adapter crapped out on my last road trip and the gas station lookalikes I purchased were terrible. I bought two and have a spare in the car. I really miss the simple old style headphone jack.

I love that i can still use my hard wire earphones, but a tip, make sure not to pull it off from the wire, tends to break fast and you end up with the cracking noise, sadly they no longer come with the 2018 iPhone line up.

I can't connect my headphones to the 7 without it so I had to buy it. That simple.

Not much to say about this adapter other than the fact that is does its job well.

It's cheap, has a surprisingly good DAC for the price and works as advertised. The cable is very flimsy and I wouldn't be surprised if it frails after a while, like other Apple cables.

This item comes in handy, but Apple should bring back the headphone jack.

Stay away from the knockoffs and go with the original adapter from apple.

Volume controls don't work, however, on/off control works just fine - don't know why one control does and the others don't. Product itself has stayed attached to original headphone jack very well. Slight delay before sound goes from device to headphones, but product does what it's supposed to do and saves money from buying new Apple headphone ear buds. Totally worth it.

It's a good product. It's worth buying since it's the original piece for my phone.
