Far better than any non-Apple alternative

That said, it's an official Apple product through a reputable seller, I would not buy anything else; even the comparable "Apple" adapters on Amazon appear to be knock-offs with poor audio quality.

Unfortunately, the new iPhones no longer come with this adapter.

Since Apple decided to change the headphone world by removing the jack, you will need this and if you have it, you will be very happy you do!

I like to have more than one headset, keep one at work, one at my home office and one in the family room. I was shopping earbuds when I came across this adapter, decided to try it and wait for the new EarPods from Apple to come out. I noticed no difference in the sound from my older earbuds and the one that came with the iPhone X R. I’m happy with my decision.
