But now you have to buy a similar piece for Samsung phones so THANKS APPLE. Product works as it should.

My adapter

My car is a little bit older, so this is the only way, I'm able to listen to my Satellite radio on my phone.

Use this for an external mic when using the phone for video and also for and audio cable into an older vehicle.

Really works

It works wonderfully and will save you a lot of money on buying new ear buds for your latest iphone. IF your Iphone does not have a headset plug only the lightening port like mine. Finding that out the hard way hurt my feelings.

Fits a need

It functions great for that use, and it's probably the cheapest thing that Apple sells.

Buy a $750-$1200 iphone and neglect to make it a complete package by including this simple $10 solution. Easy to use, works great. Too bad I had to buy this as an added accessory.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently my note 10+ phone broke so I bought me an iPhone 12 and while I was using android to listen to my music in my car with a adapter after switching getting a new phone I had to buy a newer adapter for the iPhone. Also after using the new adapter from Apple it’s not as loud as the android version adapter but it still works very well the build quality is good. I’m having trouble listening to higher volume with this music adapter overall it is a good adapter but I have speakers in my vehicle and listen to higher volume with base this adapter doesn’t really do the job. But listening to music on the go is amazing and clear and it’s good. Now I could be wrong it can be the adapter or it could be the Music player that I’m using or it could be my iPhone who knows. But I will still keep on doing some digging and if I can fix this I will change my review.

Apple phone mistake, but this fixes it!

So now, I head back to store to purchase an adapter...and it worked. Now my earbud cord will always be 2 inches longer but oh well!
