I was wrong and there was no reviews that stated or specific details about product. So I am here to let you know that you can only insert a sd card and import from sd card to phone or iPad. NOT EXPORT FROM PHONE TO SD CARD !!! But it works for the most part not for what I needed. Ixpand drive works for export and import
